| Sunset watching is one of my favorites |

|
|
In Coco as well as elsewhere in the world the simple things in life can sometimes be the most rewarding.
In the late afternoon, many of the tourist and locals gather in the little park in front of the beach just to watch the sunset.
Sunsets are beautiful here. Although I have never done it you can watch the sun rise in Lemon on the East Coast and drive
to the Playa Jaco on West Coast and watch it set the same day. I don’t recommend this because you would miss so much
of the beautiful landscape in between.

Playa Del Coco is well known for it sports and commercial fishing. You can charter
all sorts of boats right in town. If you are not looking for a big expensive cabin cruiser, we recommend Natti Boat. It’s
owned and operated by Jorge Rodrigues and his wife Aneth. They Speak very good English and are great people. Jorge has lived
and fished in the Coco area all his life and he knows how to find the fish. With Natti Boat you have the option of doing a
number to types of tours. You can chose between snorkeling, fishing, scuba, surfing, or my favorite sunset watching. Natti
is the name of their beautiful little daughter.

| The Coco Beach Hotel and Casino |

|
| This is a favorite of our local expiate community. |
|
The Coco Beach Hotel and Casino is a landmark in Playa Del Coco. It is one of many a great place
to go for dinner after watching the sunset. The Coco Verde has Live keyboard Music most nights of the week that will appeal
to the over 45 crowd. They have a small casino that is fun to gamble in or just to drink, watch and listen to the music. This
is a very safe environment as well as all of Coco. The Coco Verde serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch on
its patio balcony and dinner in the dining room or bar. For you single fellows there are many eligible young ladies that stop
here at night.

Each of our beaches has its exclusive distinct characteristics. Playa Del Coco has brown sand and very calm surf. The sand
at Jaco is almost black and the surf more suited to surfing. The dark sand is beautiful. When you realize that the color of
the sand is the result of thousands of years of volcanic activity. You will appreciate the color of the sand even more, if
you visit one of Costa Rica’s active volcanoes. There is at least one beach that I know of that the sand is a mixture
white sand and tiny cone shaped shells. One of best trips Jenny and I have taken was when we started out in Coco and followed
the roads closest to the West Coast and stopping at every beach. We went all the way to Manuel Antonio. We only recommend
this if you are staying more than 2 weeks.

| Canopy tours |

|
|
Canopy tours are fun and are available all over Costa Rica. The closest of these tours is the Congo
Trail tour, it’s about 25 minuets away by car. This is a great tour for people of all ages. My daughter loves this place
we go a couple of times every time we are in Coco. This is a dry Forest tour. If you are not into swinging through the trees
there is a nice wild life exhibit, snack bar and gift shop in the waiting area. The tour takes about 1 1/2 hours. You can
arrange for this tour including the transportation right in Coco.
The Montaverde tour is about 2 1/2 hours away and is very nice. Given the time it takes to get to Montaverde in my opinion
the Congo Trail is the better deal if you are staying in Playa Del Coco.

You can arrange a cruise for an afternoon, dinner or up to a week leaving and returning
to Playa Del Coco. The seven-day cruise will take you to some of the more popular beaches on the West Coast of Costa Rica
and return you to within walking distance of our condos.

Natti Boat
One of the most wonderful experiences I have had in Playa Coco was a custom cookout on a deserted beach.
To my knowledge Natti Boat tours is the only one who offers this experience. You have your choice of the three options
1. For the base price, they provide only transportation to one of a few beaches that is only accessible boat. They provide
a grill and cooler. You bring the charcoal, food, and drinks.
2. They will shop for you for the cookout on a cost-plus basis and you select the menu. The give you the receipts and they
add on their fee. All you do is arrive at the boat.
3. They will take care of all of the shopping, Aneth will come along to do the cooking, clean up, Jorge, his first mate
and Aneth will cater to you. This is also on a cost of food plus basis.
You can combine this tour with any of their other packages such as Fishing, Snorkeling, or scuba. The best is a choice
in my opinion is an afternoon of snorkeling, lunch on one of the deserted beaches and the sunset tour. (Gentlemen, this is
a very romantic if you let Natti Boat take care of all the details and you surprise you lady.)
You can charter a bigger boat in town but you will not get this service and you will spend a lot more money. With Natti
Boat you will come back to shore with new friends for life .

Costa Rica Travel Magazine in our opinion is absolutely
the best travel guide and advertising resource in the area. You can use this magazine to plan your entire vacation and never
go more tha 2 hours away from Playa Del Coco. You can pickup your own free copy at almost any business in the Coco area. This
magazine makes a great souvenir and coffee table book. Jenny and I have included some of their travel information pages but
you need to pick up a copy when you are in the Coco area to get complete tour, hotel, real estate investment information and
so much more.

The Lizard Lounge is the place for the younger crowd 20 to 40 I would say. It features rock and Latin Music. Their dance
floor say full every night. This is a great place to spend New Years Eve. If you don’t know Coco is one of the hottest
spots in Costa Rica for New Years Celebrations. The center of all activity is right in front of this bar. We have spent the
last three new years in this bar and had a great time each year.
